When Technology Fails… what are you going to do when technology fails you? We will discuss the great disadvantages of modern technology and why it is important to be self reliant when all the bells, whistles, and whiz bangs go down. Modern day man has come to rely on everything from digital clocks that set the time themselves to electric firearm sights, what are you going to when these things fail? What happens when your air conditioner, your TV, and your refrigerator goes down. We will discuss a old/new idea of living without all the modern technology we have so grown accustomed to. Some dogs make great family and personal companions while other dogs are good for working, hunting, protection and as a warning system. Join us as we discuss basic dog care and all the uses of different dogs, we will also be sharing some of the dog stories we have had in the past. Log Cabin Building, This week we will be discussing log cabin structures the various types of log cabins and how to build them whether they are for a single person of the whole family. We will discuss types of wood to be used and all of the tools needed from axes, broad axes, adzes, froes, draws knives, log dogs, barking spuds, and wood bores. Please join us as we cover the basic joints and styles of log cabin building along with a little humor thrown in. Log structures can be used for a variety of things from a living structure, smoke houses, storage sheds, hunting/fishing shelters and a basic survival cabin when bugging out.
